Implant Supported Dentures-- Implants allow you to wear full dentures (over-dentures) and partial dentures without worrying that they will slip or fall out. When implants support these dentures then base of these dentures can be made much smaller and more comfortable. first step: Before the procedure

The dentist determines what needs to be done and prepares both himself and the patient for the coming treatment procedure. Immediate implants

Second step: Installing the implants

The first step is installing dental implants to replace the lost tooth roots. In this case, two implants are used. Four implants may be placed in cases for added overdenture retention. Temporary dentures may be worn that enable you to eat and function like normal while waiting for the permanent overdenture to be installed. Immediate implants

Third step: Attaching ball/bar and making overdentures

First a bar or ball attachment will be affixed on top of the implants, completing the foundation on which your overdenture will be placed. The ball or bar acts as a clip that enables the overdentures to snap securely in place.
